While I've known about RSS for some time now, I've been avoiding it completely as I've been afraid of its potential for time spending. Bloglines could definitely be useful in saving a little time, but there are soooo many interesting blogs out there... I'm wary of doing #7! I can see I'll have to choose carefully.
On a different note, I don't like the visual aspects of bloglines. (In fact I think it is ugly.) I also find it hard to read and my eyes jump around the page a lot. Perhaps I need to check out another reader.

I agree that Bloglines isn't that attractive, but I've stuck with it because it's what I started out using and now I'm used to it. How's that for a reason for doing something :)
You will have to talk to Allana about Google Reader - she uses it instead of Bloglines and likes it a lot better. She's tried to convert me several times; so far I haven't jumped ship, but maybe some day!
